Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician for Crest at Brier Creek in Raleigh, NC. The role involves diagnosing defects, repairing systems, and performing preventive maintenance to keep the property clean, safe, and fully functional.

Responsibilities include completing work orders, preparing units for new move-ins, material management, and documenting all tasks. On-site work with some on-call requirements, various shifts, and a focus on safety standards.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.
• State and Local jurisdiction certifications as required for all service technicians.
• Valid driver’s license to operate a golf cart on property if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Completes assigned work orders and preventative maintenance to meet safety and code requirements.
• Executes the make-ready process to prepare vacant apartments for leasing.
• Manages materials, inventory, and ordering needs with the maintenance supervisor.
• Documents service requests timely and accurately for tracking.
• Maintains grounds, common areas, and amenities including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Supports cost-control by repairing instead of replacing parts when feasible.
