Job summary

Greystar Worldwide, LLC seeks a maintenance technician to ensure property facilities meet safety and cleanliness standards. The role covers operating and maintaining building systems, completing preventativem aintenance, and preparing units for leasing at Headwaters at Autumn Hall in Wilmington, NC.

The position requires HVAC-related certifications, a valid driver’s license, and flexibility for on-call work.

Qualifications

• EPA Type I and II or Universal refrigerant certification.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate golf cart on property.
• OSHA safety training or equivalent.
• Experience with maintenance tools and equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Execute the make-ready process for vacant apartments, including inspections and coordinating vendors.
• Access materials and tools from maintenance, track inventory, and notify re-order needs.
• Document all service requests accurately for tracking and reporting.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities, including cleaning and painting as needed.
• Support cost-control by repairing rather than replacing parts when possible.
• Inspect contractor work periodically to verify quality and scope.
• Assist in routine property inspections and communicate needs to management.
