Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Service Technician for the Columns at Wakefield in Raleigh, NC. You will perform technical and mechanical work to ensure building and common areas meet Greystar standards for safety, cleanliness, and functionality.

The role includes on-site duties, on-call rotations, and participating in safety programs. The position requires EPA Type 1/II or Universal refrigerant certifications, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work a flexible schedule.

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal required (refrigerant recycling).
• Ability to diagnose and repair maintenance issues in a timely, safe manner.
• Willingness to be on-call and work flexible hours including evenings/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders from resident requests and perform preventative maintenance.
• Prepare vacant homes for leasing, conduct pre-move-out inspections and create punch lists.
• Manage materials, track inventory, and coordinate with vendors as needed.
• Document all work and service requests for proper tracking.
• Maintain grounds and common areas, including cleaning and minor repairs.
• Assist in safety compliance and routine property inspections.
