Job summary

Greystar is seeking a maintenance technician to oversee repairs, routine upkeep, and make-ready work for vacants. You will diagnose issues, coordinate vendors, and ensure safety and quality across grounds, amenities, and units.

The role requires strong interpersonal skills, tool proficiency, and the ability to follow policies while delivering excellent resident service and maintaining Greystar standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or related experience and training.
• Experience in property management maintenance or related trade.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Strong reading, writing, and communication skills.
• Ability to apply logical thinking to diagnose problems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair maintenance requests from residents following policies and safety standards.
• Oversee make-ready process for vacant units, including inspections and vendor coordination.
• Develop standards for cleanliness and appearance of grounds, exteriors, and common areas.
• Inspect work by staff and contractors to ensure quality and compliance.
• Maintain inventory and assist in budgeting for repairs and capital projects.
