Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities seeks a Senior Service Manager to lead maintenance operations for one or more communities, directing on-site teams and driving financial performance within budget.

You will build a culture of exceptional service for residents, prospects, and vendors, optimize preventive maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with external contractors to sustain high standards across properties in the region.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• Previous service/maintenance manager experience required.
• Excellent English communication skills, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, onboard and develop maintenance team members to build a culture of excellence.
• Foster a customer-service mindset for residents, prospects and vendors; address requests and concerns.
• Monitor maintenance KPIs and drive action plans to meet goals and budgets.
• Administer operating budgets, control variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Ensure facilities meet Irvine Company standards and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on COE and capital projects; manage contract work.
• Provide leadership across portfolio initiatives and support quarterly inspections.
• Support energy and water management initiatives.
