Job summary

Irvine Company Apartment Communities, a division of Irvine Company, is seeking a Service Manager II to oversee maintenance for large apartment communities. You will lead a maintenance team, manage budgets and inventory, and ensure safety and operational excellence across sites in California.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 5–8 years of relevant experience, EPA 608 certification, and a valid CA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 5-8 years of relevant work experience.
• EPA 608 (Core and Type II) certification required.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, written and spoken.
• Valid California driver’s license and drive regularly between communities.

Responsibilities

• Hire, train, coach and manage performance of maintenance team.
• Anticipate customer needs and provide excellent service.
• Ensure facilities are maintained to company standards and identify hazards.
• Oversee work orders, unit turnovers, preventative maintenance, and inventory/purchasing.
• Ensure financial controls and KPI monitoring, audits and compliance.
