Claritev in Wisconsin is seeking a Mail Clerk to handle mail sorting, batching, and processing of incoming and outgoing mail with accuracy and independence.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years mailroom experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–2 years experience in a mailroom.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize tasks.
• Accurate data entry skills; working knowledge of PC applications (MS Word, Excel, Access, Outlook).
• Required licensures or certifications as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Accurately collects, sorts, and distributes claim mail from external sources.
• Performs clerical duties (faxing, filing, photocopying) per procedures.
• Matches repricing sheets to claims and files in payer bins.
• Prepares paper claim batches for processing by repricing staff.
• Maintains payer updates and adjusts sorter bins as needed.
• Prints completed claim files and looks up pendings.
• Scans claims into the system.
• Flag issues to Team Lead/Supervisor to avoid service disruption.
• Ensure records are accurate and area remains neat.
• Order and maintain mailing supplies.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate across departments.
• HIPAA compliance and company core values adherence.
