Job summary

Banyan Living in the greater Cleveland area is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team to perform maintenance tasks and repairs across our properties to keep residents safe and comfortable.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, and strong troubleshooting skills with a customer-focused mindset. This on-site role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. On-call availability may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical certifications preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Customer-focused with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly with great service.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by completing repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and track supplies.
• Collaborate with property management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
