Banyan Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the greater Cleveland area. You will tackle maintenance tasks, perform repairs, and conduct preventative maintenance across our properties to ensure safe and comfortable living environments for residents.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, with 1 year of maintenance experience and strong plumbing/electrical knowledge. Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 pounds are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certifications preferred.
• 1 year of maintenance or related experience required; strong plumbing/electrical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly with strong customer service.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units by completing repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track inventory.
• Collaborate with property management to address maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
