Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC in the greater Cleveland area is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You will perform routine inspections, address resident requests, and maintain plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance systems to uphold our high standards of safety and comfort.

This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 1 year in maintenance, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• At least 1 year of maintenance or related field experience.
• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC, and general repair.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Availability for on-call and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on all building systems and equipment
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly, ensuring great customer service and satisfaction
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to address and resolve maintenance issues efficiently
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment at all times
