Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC is seeking an Experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in the greater Cleveland area. You will tackle a range of routine and urgent maintenance tasks to keep our properties safe and comfortable for residents.

The role requires knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general repairs, plus strong troubleshooting and customer-service skills. On-site work with on-call duties is expected, driving responsibilities may apply.

Qualifications

• Solid knowledge of plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC and general repair work.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.
• Availability for on-call duties and emergency maintenance as needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Complete repairs on plumbing, electrical, HVAC systems, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants by ensuring repairs and maintenance tasks are performed.
• Maintain thorough documentation of maintenance activities and track supply inventory.
• Collaborate with the property management team to address maintenance issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
