Job summary

Banyan Living, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in the greater Cleveland area. You will perform maintenance tasks, repairs, and preventative work across our properties to ensure safe, comfortable living environments for residents.

The role requires at least 1 year of maintenance experience, knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, and a commitment to safety and customer service. On-site presence with on-call duties is expected.

Qualifications

• 1 year of maintenance or related field experience.
• Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems; general repairs.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer-service mindset.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds; on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on building systems.
• Respond to resident maintenance requests promptly with high service quality.
• Repair plumbing, electrical, and appliances.
• Prepare vacant units for new tenants and coordinate repairs.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance activities and inventory.
• Collaborate with property management to resolve issues efficiently.
• Follow safety protocols and keep a clean, organized workspace.
