Job summary

Intuit is seeking year‑round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide full-service tax preparation, expert guidance, and software support while collaborating with a broader team of specialists.

You’ll grow the local client base, build lasting relationships, and help clients maximize refunds and plan for future tax needs. Strong tax knowledge, on-site availability, and community outreach are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) as required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Grow TurboTax’s local client base through outreach, referrals, and community partnerships.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning to extend the engagement.
• Build long-term relationships and ensure customers leave with a clear path to their financial goals.
• Deliver a best-in-class customer experience in-person and via TurboTax tools.
