Job summary

Intuit is seeking year-round TurboTax Local Service Experts to work on-site at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and software support while collaborating with a broader team of specialists to deliver end-to-end client solutions.

You will engage with personal, business, and complex tax scenarios, build local relationships, and help expand TurboTax’s presence in your community through outreach events and partnerships.

Qualifications

• Active EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with tax preparation experience.
• Must have a valid PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Monday through Friday, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including compliance training and cross-training of other products, with potential changes at any time.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and be comfortable using your name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax-related content and resources for your community per Intuit’s policies.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize tax liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Act as a proactive community ambassador to grow a local customer base and convert prospects into loyal clients.
• Lead local outreach, grass-roots marketing, referrals, and partnerships with marketing support from TurboTax.
• Connect clients with Intuit solutions such as bookkeeping, payroll, and financial planning as part of a holistic advisory approach.
• Build lasting relationships by delivering a best-in-class customer experience and ongoing support.
