Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax Local Service Experts to join our on‑site teams across the United States.

You will provide hands‑on tax preparation, client guidance, and connect customers with broader Intuit services to deliver a seamless end‑to‑end experience. You will act as a community ambassador, grow local client relationships, and ensure a high‑quality service standard while leveraging TurboTax marketing resources.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Have an active PTIN to file taxes.
• Minimum of 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software. Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory) with training provided by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office location, primarily between 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM local time, for a minimum of 20 hours per week.
• Must be willing and able to complete all required training and development as determined by the business including, but not limited to, compliance training, proficiency‑based up‑skilling, cross‑training of other products or offerings, and professional development.
• Must be willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and allow use of name/picture for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert, creating accessible tax‑related content for the community.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands‑on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Be a proactive community ambassador to grow a local customer base and own your market.
• Champion the full Intuit ecosystem by connecting clients with bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma.
• Build relationships and foster long‑term trust with clients to convert transactions into ongoing engagements.
• Deliver a best‑in‑class customer experience with professionalism and clear tax guidance.
