Job summary

Intuit is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team at one of our U.S. locations.

On-site role combines tax expertise, community engagement, and a client-centered approach to help customers achieve positive financial outcomes. You will work with a team of specialists while building a local client base, delivering full-service tax preparation and personalized guidance, and representing Intuit in the community with professionalism.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN to file taxes.
• At least 3 years filing 30+ federal/state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types or more complex work areas with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, primarily 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local time, Mon–Fri, for a min of 20 hours/week.
• Willing to complete all required training and development, including compliance and cross-training of other products or offerings.
• Willing to wear Intuit provided uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador by growing a local client base through outreach and events.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem by linking clients to bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, or Credit Karma offerings.
• Build Relationships and deliver a best-in-class customer experience with professional conduct.
• Interact with clients in-person and via Intuit video tools, guiding them through tax challenges.
