Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and comprehensive service at a TurboTax location.

You will collaborate with specialists across business tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services to deliver end-to-end support to clients. You’ll help grow local client bases, engage with the community through events, and leverage Intuit marketing tools to build a thriving, year-round practice.

Qualifications

• EA/CPA/Attorney with strong tax preparation experience and extensive knowledge of tax laws preferred.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll) with training by Intuit.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week; peak periods may increase hours.
• Must complete required training including compliance and upskilling; uniforms and use of name/photo for advertising may be required.
• Interest in building local and online presence as a TurboTax Expert; ability to create tax-related content per policy.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus; experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow local TurboTax client base and participate in outreach events.
• Connect clients with Intuit ecosystem solutions (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning) as appropriate.
• Build relationships with clients to convert transactions into long-term engagements.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist clients with ongoing tax planning and questions.
