Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking dedicated TurboTax - Local Service Experts to work onsite at a TurboTax location across the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, expert advice, and connect clients with broader Intuit services to maximize year-round value.

The role emphasizes community growth, local events, and building long-term client relationships while delivering a best-in-class customer experience in person and via Intuit tools.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA (Certified Public Accountant), or Practicing Attorney with strong tax preparation experience preferred.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state individual 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional tax preparation software; familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types (e.g., bookkeeping, payroll, business tax advisory).
• Onsite in TurboTax office hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM local, at least 20 hours/week; training and uniforms provided; able to use your name/picture for advertising.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Own local growth: identify prospects, outreach, community partnerships, and events to build client base.
• Connect clients with the Intuit ecosystem (bookkeeping, payroll, financial planning, etc.) for year-round support.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience, both in person and via Intuit video tools.
