Job summary

Intuit is seeking TurboTax - Local Service Experts to join our on-site team at a local TurboTax location in the United States. You will perform full-service tax return preparation, provide expert tax advice, and support clients with complex situations, in person and virtually.

You will also help grow the local TurboTax client base, connect clients to Intuit's ecosystem of services, and collaborate with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end solutions.

Qualifications

• EA, CPA, or practicing attorney with strong tax preparation experience.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal and state 1040 returns per season using professional tax software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, minimum 20 hours/week.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation services for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex tax situations.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and tax reviews to uncover deductions, minimize liabilities, maximize refunds, and provide future tax planning advice.
• Grow local client base through outreach, grass-roots marketing, and community events with marketing support.
• Coordinate with other Intuit experts to deliver end-to-end solutions and connect clients with related services.
