Job summary

Intuit seeks TurboTax Local Service Experts to join on-site teams at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide hands-on tax preparation, advisory support, and connect clients with the broader Intuit ecosystem to build lasting relationships.

You’ll grow local client bases, deliver a best-in-class customer experience, and work with a collaborative team of tax professionals to ensure accurate filings and valuable financial guidance for individuals and small businesses.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or Practicing Attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge of tax laws.
• Active PTIN required to file taxes.
• 3+ years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per season using professional software; Circular 230 familiarity.
• Willing to upskill into additional service types with training provided by Intuit.
• Comfortable onsite at a TurboTax location, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, 20 hours/week minimum.
• Willing to complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Willing to wear Intuit uniforms and use your name for advertising.
• Interest in building a local and online social presence as a TurboTax Expert.
• Bilingual English/Spanish communication skills are a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory services beyond tax filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tax Expertise - hands-on advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, handling simple to complex situations.
• Be a Proactive Community Ambassador - build local client base and drive local growth through outreach and partnerships.
• Champion the Full Intuit Ecosystem - connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, planning, or Credit Karma as needed.
• Build Relationships - develop long-term trust and convert one-time transactions into ongoing engagements.
• Deliver a Best in Class Customer Experience - ensure professionalism and help clients achieve financial goals.
