Job summary

Intuit, Inc. is seeking motivated individuals to join our TurboTax Local Service Expert team.

The role combines tax expertise with community engagement, serving customers on-site at a TurboTax location and assisting with in-person and virtual consultations. You will handle full-service tax return preparation, provide expert advice, and coordinate with a broader team of specialists to deliver a seamless Intuit experience.

Qualifications

• Active EA/CPA/Attorney with tax preparation experience.
• PTIN must be active to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 tax returns per tax season using professional software.
• Familiarity with Circular 230.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or tax advisory with training by Intuit.
• Must be comfortable working onsite at a TurboTax office, 8:00–17:00, Mon–Fri, at least 20 hours/week.
• Must be willing to complete required training and wear Intuit uniforms.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence via content and outreach.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete returns for TurboTax clients, covering simple to complex scenarios.
• Lead local community outreach to grow the client base and foster loyalty.
• Connect clients to Intuit ecosystem services like bookkeeping and payroll.
• Build long-term relationships and deliver a full-scope Intuit experience.
• Offer exceptional customer service in-person and via video tools.
