Job summary

Intuit Inc. is seeking motivated individuals for TurboTax Local Service Expert roles at a TurboTax location in the United States. You will provide tax advice, complete returns, and work closely with a team of specialists to deliver end-to-end service.

You will grow the local client base, participate in community events, and connect clients with bookkeeping, payroll, and advisory services. This role emphasizes on-site presence, excellent customer service, and a strong understanding of tax law.

Qualifications

• EA (Enrolled Agent), CPA, or practicing attorney with tax prep experience and knowledge.
• Active PTIN required by law to file taxes.
• Minimum 3 years of paid experience filing 30+ federal/state 1040 returns per season with professional prep software.
• Willing to upskill into bookkeeping, payroll, or advisory services with training.
• Must be onsite 8:00–17:00 local time, Mon–Fri, for at least 20 hours weekly.
• Must complete all required training and development as determined by the business.
• Must wear Intuit uniforms and be open to advertising with your name/picture.
• Interest in building a local and online TurboTax presence; bilingual a plus.
• Experience in holistic tax advisory beyond filing.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on tax advice and complete preparation for TurboTax clients, including complex situations.
• Act as a community ambassador to grow the local TurboTax client base.
• Connect clients to additional Intuit services like bookkeeping or payroll.
• Build long-term relationships with clients; ensure ongoing engagement.
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience and assist using Intuit tools and video interfaces.
