Alpha is seeking a Literacy Specialist to guide K–3 students through app-based learning, diagnose decoding gaps, and close literacy gaps with targeted sequences. You will stay with students through the day, setting daily goals and using data to name and close gaps for each child.

This on-site role emphasizes structured sessions, cross-school collaboration, and continuous coaching as campuses expand nationwide. A strong training background in structured literacy is preferred.

Qualificações

• Minimum 3 years working directly with children ages 4-9 in instructional or coaching roles.
• At least 2 years teaching reading in K-3 within the last 5 years.
• Completed structured-literacy training or a master’s in reading or literacy.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.
• Bachelor’s degree required; teaching certificate is not required.

Responsabilidades

• Coaching 4- to 6-year-olds through app-based core learning, diagnosing gaps, and driving progress.
• Lead short, structured literacy sessions with small groups.
• Monitor weekly data and set daily goals for each student.
• Stay with students through lunch and recess and develop plans for each child.
• Move students toward weekly app goals with gamification.
