Alpha is hiring a Student Success Coach to work full-time on-site with K-3 students across multiple campuses. You will guide kids through app-based core learning, diagnose decoding gaps, and implement short, structured literacy sequences designed to close those gaps.

The role emphasizes daily routines, data-driven progress, and 90/10 time split toward guided learning versus reading sessions. Relocation support is provided, and candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US.

Qualifications

• On-site work at a listed campus with relocation support.
• Minimum 3 years direct work with children aged 4-9.
• Minimum 2 years coaching reading in K-3 in last 5 years.
• Structured-literacy training or master's in reading/literacy.
• Bachelor's degree; teaching certificate not required.
• Comfortable with app-based learning environments (90% on device).
• Willing to work with all K-3 students; US work authorization.

Responsibilities

• Coaching students through app-based core learning and closing gaps.
• Run small-group literacy sessions; diagnose gaps from running records.
• Lead morning launch, workshops, and classroom routines.
• Drive weekly app goals using gamification and leaderboards.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing with a plan.
• Maintain daily progress data and communicate with families weekly.
