Job summary

Alpha is seeking an on-site Academic Coach to work with K‑3 students across a full school day, from morning launch to closing. You will diagnose reading gaps, run targeted sessions, and guide students toward app‑based goals using a structured literacy approach.

You will be part of a growing network of campuses, with relocation support and a focus on data‑driven literacy progress. The role is full‑time and on‑site at a campus location.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years working directly with children ages 4‑9.

Responsibilities

• Coach K‑3 students through app‑based core learning and targeted reading sessions.
• Diagnose gaps from running records and fluency probes and design sequences to close them.
• Lead morning launch, workshops, and daily classroom routines for six‑year‑olds.
• Guide students to weekly app goals using school currency, leaderboards, and gamification.
• Stay with students through lunch, recess, and closing to support reading objectives.
