Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Learning Specialist to sit onsite at the Amherst plant. You will lead new Team Member orientation and deliver training on conduct, safety, and leadership initiatives, including Upward Academy support.

You'll work closely with HR, operations, and hourly Team Members, assess learning needs, arrange interpreters when needed, and analyze feedback to improve onboarding and training programs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2+ years of professional experience required.
• Experience in training and facilitation preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills; English proficiency required.
• Operations/manufacturing experience preferred; ability to present to large groups.
• Willingness to travel 1–5 domestic trips per year.
• Relocation not indicated; relocation assistance not listed.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and continually improve classroom learning experience for Team Members.
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Identify language barriers and assess need for interpreters.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members to the facility and qualification process.
• Backup for Hiring team and other duties as assigned.
