Job summary

Tyson Foods, Inc. is seeking a Learning and Development professional to execute learning initiatives for plant teams. You will deliver leadership development courses, onboarding, and on-the-job training, measure learner experience, and implement improvements across operations.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, at least 2 years in related work, and strong communication and organizational skills. Travel 1–5 domestic trips annually; relocation may be considered.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred. Equivalent work experience to be considered in lieu of higher education.
• Experience: 2 years relevant work experience
• Computer Skills: Advanced computer skills
• Communication Skills: Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills required. Team member must be able to adapt their communication style for all levels within the organization.
• Special Skills: Extensive Operations and Manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to work with all levels of Team Members and develop positive and strong business partner relationships.
• Supervisory: No
• Travel: 1-5 domestic trips per year.

Responsibilities

• Review training needs with complex/plant management teams as assigned
• Identify gaps in training and work with the location leaders to close those gaps Collect and analyze course feedback
• Manage qualification process (Ops), including tracking of progress, and pay and job impacts once qualified
• Delivery of live training and organize facility-based training, e.g. OTJ Training and Onboarding, leadership and soft-skill.
• Complete any and all other task assigned by the Complex Manger (or designee) to facilitate the operation.
