Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Hiring Specialist to deliver a welcoming onboarding experience, manage scheduling, compliance, and end-to-end hiring processes at the Robards, KY plant. The role requires collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team, OHS, Learning, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Responsibilities include coordinating tours, onboarding tasks, I-9 compliance, background checks, and maintaining updated schedules.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of higher education.

Responsibilities

• Schedule tours, drug screens, and orientations; manage PPE and no-shows.
• Coordinate onboarding, background checks, and offer processes.
• Maintain I-9 compliance with audits and corrections.
• Collaborate with TA, OHS, Learning Team, and other stakeholders.
• Support plant operations and participate in corporate/location meetings.
• Cross-train and provide coverage for other locations.
