Job summary

Tyson Foods is hiring an on-site Learning Specialist at the Amherst plant to lead new Team Member orientation and deliver a range of training programs, including code of conduct, animal well-being, lockout/tagout, and forklift training support.

You will collaborate with HR and operations to ensure effective communication, gather survey feedback, and identify improvement opportunities. Domestic travel may be required, with a base pay range and incentives noted in the posting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional experience required.
• English language proficiency—spoken, read and written.
• Willingness to travel domestically 1–5 trips per year.
• Relocation assistance not offered; on-site role at Amherst plant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and continually improve classroom learning experience for Team Members.
• Ensure all new Team Member documentation is completed in a timely manner.
• Identify language barriers and assess the need for interpreters for effective communication.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members to the facility and qualification process.
• Backup for the Hiring team.
• Other duties as assigned.
