Job summary

Tyson Foods in Amherst, NY seeks a Learning Specialist to conduct new Team Member orientation and deliver a range of training courses. You will facilitate code of conduct, animal well-being, lockout/tagout, forklift training, and leadership development programs for plant staff, while gathering feedback to drive improvements.

The role requires 2+ years of experience, strong communication, and the ability to work onsite with occasional travel. Bilingual skills and HR admin experience are a plus.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: high school graduate or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Experience in training and facilitation is preferred.
• Strong written, verbal and presentation skills; English proficient.

Responsibilities

• Conduct and continually improve classroom learning experiences for Team Members.
• Ensure new Team Member documentation is completed timely and correctly.
• Identify language barriers and arrange interpreters as needed for effective communication.
• Assist in acclimating new Team Members to the facility and qualification process.
• Backup for Hiring team and other duties as assigned.
