Tyson Foods in Robards, KY is seeking a Hiring Specialist to manage onboarding, scheduling, and compliance for the Hiring Operations team. The role collaborates with TA, OHS, Learning, and other stakeholders to ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires.

Responsibilities include I-9 compliance, background checks, form processing, and coordinating orientation activities. Strong HR policy knowledge and excellent communication are essential; bilingual preferred.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required.
• Strong organizational and time management abilities to handle multiple tasks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems with attention to detail.
• Must be able to work with minimal supervision and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Scheduling and coordinating plant tours, drug screens, and orientations.
• Assist with onboarding, job offers, and self-ID tasks; manage background checks and validations.
• Maintain I-9 compliance, including audits and corrections; review work eligibility documents.
• Distribute information, coordinate orientation, and ensure proper documentation and surveys.
• Support HR policies, participate in meetings, and cover duties at multiple locations as needed.
