Covenant Transport, Inc. is seeking an onsite Account Manager to manage a key customer account and ensure service meets or exceeds expectations while driving revenue growth.

You will act as the liaison between the customer and Covenant HQ to deliver results. Responsibilities include developing relationships, coordinating transportation requirements, overseeing fleet operations, monitoring performance metrics, and ensuring load plans are executed with safety and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in Business/Logistics.
• 3+ years in transportation industry.
• Leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution.
• Coordinate customer transportation requirements and ensure service commitments are achieved.
• Oversee daily fleet operations to ensure safe, compliant, and profitable execution.
• Monitor equipment availability and fleet capacity to support customer demand.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to minimize disruptions and maximize equipment utilization.
• Plan and optimize freight movements while balancing service, cost, and equipment availability.
• Monitor operational metrics, costs, and key performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities to improve profitability through enhanced fleet utilization.
