Job summary

Covenant Logistics is seeking an Extended Coverage Logistics Customer Account Manager to ensure ongoing customer communication, shipment visibility, and service capture for Captive accounts. The role coordinates with Fleet Management, Planning, Safety and Maintenance to protect commitments and resolve issues.

Responsibilities include monitoring shipments, maintaining SOPs, and providing clear handoffs while working independently across multiple accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, or similar field required.
• 2+ years of relevant customer service or account management required.
• Prior experience in transportation or logistics environment desired.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary Extended Coverage resource for assigned Captive accounts.
• Maintain proactive communication regarding shipment status, ETA changes, risks, delays, and issues.
• Monitor shipments and ensure loads progress according to customer requirements.
• Coordinate with Fleet Management, Safety, Maintenance and other teams to protect commitments.
• Respond to service failures and coordinate resolutions.
• Provide coverage across multiple Captive accounts as needed.
