Job summary

UPS Supply Chain Solutions, Inc. is seeking a Technician to lead the delivery and support of IT services, systems, and project deployments at our Coppell, TX location.

This role involves coordinating with cross-functional teams and external vendors to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Responsibilities include potential coding/integration work, managing costs and inventory, and providing technical training to staff and customers.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and software.
• Experience with VPN, Remote Desktop Apps, Active Directory and various Web browsers (Preferred).
• Service Now experience (Preferred).
• Technical Certifications such as A+, Network+ (Preferred).
• Technical work experience (Preferred).
• Experience troubleshooting thermal printers (Preferred).
• Physical ability to lift up to 70 pounds (Required).
• Ability to travel by car to UPS facilities (Required).
• Must have a valid driver’s license (Required).

Responsibilities

• Leads, manages, and coordinates the delivery of IT services, support, and project deployments to ensure excellent customer experience.
• May require coding, programming, or integration with external customer technology and systems.
• Manages cost, staffing, equipment inventory, system compliance, safety, and security of resources.
• Provides technical training and development to departmental teams and customers.
• Uses technology to initiate, deploy, and track projects and 24x7 support services.
