Job summary

UPS in Coppell, TX is seeking a Technician to join our facilities team. The role supports IT services, equipment maintenance, and project deployments with a focus on reliability and security.

You will work 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM EST, Tue-Sat, and travel to UPS facilities as needed. A+ or Network+ certification is preferred, and the ability to lift up to 70 pounds is required. This is a permanent, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Operating Systems (OS) and software.
• Experience with VPN, Remote Desktop Apps, Active Directory and various Web browsers - Preferred.
• Service Now experience - Preferred.
• Technical Certifications such as A+, Network+ - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures successful execution of customized IT solutions and initiatives using KPI and SLA tracking.
• Leads delivery of IT services, support, and project deployments; may involve coding/integration with external systems.
• Manages costs, staffing, equipment inventory, and system compliance; provides training.
