Job summary

Ledgent Technology seeks an IS Support Specialist for Grants Pass, OR. This onsite, direct-hire role supports Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365 while delivering second-level helpdesk assistance across a multi-site organization.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure issues, assist with security and disaster recovery, and contribute to infrastructure projects. Excellent communication and professionalism are essential.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in IT or related field.
• Experience supporting Windows desktop and server environments.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, networking, and infrastructure.
• Experience supporting network devices and connectivity issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing business needs.
• High degree of professionalism and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, Group Policy, and user access controls.
• Support Microsoft 365 technologies including Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, and cloud services.
• Maintain server software, patch management, endpoint protection, and internal apps.
• Troubleshoot Cisco networking equipment including routers and switches.
• Support workstation OS, desktop apps, and peripherals.
• Manage mobile devices and MDM solutions.
• Support VoIP technologies including desk/soft phones and cloud platforms.
• Maintain local and network printers.
• Administer file permissions and access controls within local and domain environments.
• Support backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Provide escalation support for complex help desk issues and document procedures.
• Assist with technology projects, upgrades, deployments, and infra improvements.
• Travel between locations as needed to support systems.
