Job summary

Gradient is seeking an IT Specialist to join our team in Clackamas, Oregon. In this hands‑on role, you’ll keep our people connected, secure, and productive, handling on-site workstation, account, and phone support, with the remote Systems Administrator as needed.

You’ll work Monday–Friday with occasional after‑hours support, and travel between Gradient locations. You’ll contribute to documentation, asset inventories, and process improvements while upholding our safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressively responsible end-user IT support experience, including Level II troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience supporting Windows workstations and common business applications.
• Experience with routine Microsoft 365 user administration (accounts, licenses, mailboxes, groups, access).
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Wi‑Fi, DNS, DHCP) sufficient to diagnose and escalate issues.
• Understanding of end-user cybersecurity fundamentals (MFA, phishing, patching, least‑privilege access).
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for travel between Gradient locations.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test (including THC).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite technology resource for Gradient employees, troubleshooting Level I and II issues.
• Configure and support workstations, phones, and peripherals for new hires and role changes.
• Administer routine Microsoft 365, LastPass, and third‑party application access, including MFA resets.
• Serve as onsite hands for Gradient’s remote Systems Administrator, testing and installing infrastructure equipment.
• Maintain accurate IT documentation, asset inventories, and onboarding/offboarding checklists.
