Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract IT Support specialist to install, maintain, and repair computer hardware and software at headquarters and regional sites in Harwood, ND. You will provide technical assistance to internal and external clients and help manage enterprise software, licensing, and network operations.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, SCCM, PowerShell, and MDM skills, with a willingness to travel to job sites and regional offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 2+ years of desktop experience or a combination of education and relevant experience.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, O365, Windows 10, and various handheld devices.
• Strong customer support mentality and problem solving.
• Willingness to travel.
• Basic understanding of SCCM and PowerShell for managing Windows environments.
• Experience with iPhone/iOS setup and MDM tools.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair hardware and software at offices and job sites per design specifications.
• Diagnose problems by referencing manuals and conducting diagnostics.
• Test systems and monitor hardware and peripherals for effectiveness.
• Coordinate setup and deployment of computer hardware and software.
• Setup job site networks including high-speed internet and wireless networks.
• Maintain inventory and track problem resolution activities.
• Provide hands-on support of local servers and networks with senior staff.
• Create monitoring and alerting for network devices to minimize faults.
