Job summary

TEKsystems in Menasha, WI seeks an experienced IT Field Technician to provide hands-on support across multiple offices and sites. You will own end-user device management, network deployments, and AV systems while coordinating with internal teams and vendors.

The role covers site buildouts, hardware refreshes, and extensive travel to support a nationwide portfolio. Experience with Teams Rooms, MDF/IDF environments, and strong customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on IT support across desktop, infrastructure and field environments.
• Experience as sole or primary IT resource for a location with minimal supervision.
• Strong troubleshooting across Windows, hardware, networking and enterprise tech.
• Hands-on network cabling, patching, wireless networking and MDF/IDF.
• Experience deploying laptops, imaging systems, hardware refreshes, and IT asset management.
• Knowledge of AV, conference room tech and Microsoft Teams Rooms.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary onsite IT support resource for offices, facilities and remote locations.
• Provide advanced troubleshooting for desktops, laptops, printers, mobiles, peripherals and enterprise apps.
• Deploy, image, configure and maintain end-user hardware/software.
• Support hardware lifecycle, asset tracking and inventory control.
• Install and maintain networking infrastructure including cabling, switches, wireless APs, MDF/IDF.
• Perform rack-and-stack, network closet remediation and cabling management.
• Coordinate office tech deployments, openings, relocations and decommissioning.
• Support AV systems, conference rooms, digital signage and Teams Rooms environments.
• Diagnose and resolve wired/wireless network connectivity issues.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors and stakeholders on infrastructure projects.
• Provide end-user training and adoption support for new tech and AI solutions.
• Document procedures and site configurations per company standards.
• Travel extensively to support nationwide locations.
