Job summary

Powernet is seeking a hands-on IT professional for on-site and client-facing support in the Jacksonville, FL area. You will balance proactive system maintenance with rapid, independent problem-solving, working 2–3 days on-site and 2–3 days with the NOC team.

You’ll diagnose Windows domain issues, manage Active Directory, and support Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments across multiple client sites. A strong customer-facing mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of hands-on system administration or desktop support in a corporate/MSP environment.
• Strong Windows desktop/server experience within Active Directory domains.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint) and Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on, face-to-face technical support at customer sites and onsite for key clients.
• Assist in network troubleshooting, device provisioning, and workspace setups.
• Image, configure, and deploy PCs and peripherals; manage user accounts and permissions.
• Monitor and document incidents; support escalation and SLA adherence.
