Job summary

Cyber Advisors seeks an experienced Systems Engineer for a full-time, in-person role in the Petersburg, VA area. The position involves on-site and remote client support, with hours 10:00 AM–6:30 PM, Monday through Friday, and occasional evenings or weekends.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years IT experience, strong networking knowledge, proficiency with Windows and macOS servers, VMware/Hyper-V, and familiarity with Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and Office 365 administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Computer Science or commensurate work experience.
• A+ or Network+ or similar IT certification.
• 5+ years IT experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote support to clients.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, network, and software issues.
• Perform system updates and patch management to protect from vulnerabilities.
• Maintain knowledge of customers' business environments.
• Document system configurations and procedures.
• Require reliable transportation.
