Job summary

Intratek Computer, Inc. is seeking a Desktop Support Technician to support our Dallas, TX operations. This onsite contract role runs Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with medical benefits, paid vacation, and holidays.

The ideal candidate will handle in-person desk support, troubleshoot Windows and Apple devices, manage loaner equipment, and document issues for efficient ticketing and escalation when needed.

Qualifications

• Experience providing desktop or help desk support.
• Strong knowledge of Windows OS and computer hardware.
• Familiarity with printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple requests.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person support at Walkup Desk for employees.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, OS, and connectivity issues on Windows and Apple devices.
• Assist with setup, imaging, deployment, and software installations.
• Support device refresh programs and data migrations.
• Manage loaner device inventory and track checkouts/returns.
• Document troubleshooting steps and create/update service tickets.
• Escalate issues to Deskside Support or other IT teams when needed.
• Maintain equipment records and follow security/asset policies.
