Job summary

Intratek Computer, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Field Service Technician to support our client in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. The role focuses on deskside and field support for hardware deployments and migrations, with an enterprise PC refresh initiative in progress.

Responsibilities include deploying desktops and peripherals, imaging and configuring new systems, migrating data, and providing timely, professional end-user support. A CJIS background check is required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role.
• Strong understanding of computer hardware and Windows operating systems.
• Experience supporting desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple deployments daily.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Reliable transportation, punctual attendance, and a valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass a CJIS background check.

Responsibilities

• Deploy, install, configure, and replace desktops, laptops, monitors, printers, docking stations, and related peripherals.
• Support enterprise-wide PC refresh and migration projects.
• Image, configure, and set up new computer systems.
• Migrate user data and verify system functionality.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and Windows OS issues.
• Provide deskside technical support to end users promptly and professionally.
• Coordinate deployment schedules and manage tickets independently.
• Maintain accurate inventory, asset tracking, and deployment documentation.
• Assist with equipment transportation, setup, and relocation as needed.
