Job summary

Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support a client with imaging, deployment, and replacement requests. You will troubleshoot hardware, software, and basic networking issues, ensuring devices are properly configured and data remains secure throughout deployment.

This is a 3-month onsite contract in Chicago, IL. The role requires 1+ year of similar experience, an associate degree or certification, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in a similar role.
• Associate's degree in computer technology or comparable certification.
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting network and telecommunication problems.
• Experience configuring PC software.
• Experience with a ticketing system.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware.
• Ability to lift to 50 pounds independently.
• Must be comfortable working in a medical facility.
• Must be able to satisfy our client’s requirements, including proof of required vaccinations, drug screening and adherence to HIPAA privacy regulations.
• A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
• Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
• Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while completing computer imaging, deployment, and replacement requests.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic networking issues.
• Ensure end-user devices are configured properly.
• Safeguard customer data throughout the deployment process.
• Onsite support at client location in Chicago, IL.
