Job summary

Persistent Technology Inc. is seeking a Junior level Helpdesk Technician to support the US Air Force contract for Medical Information Technology Network & Desktop Support at the 375th Medical Group, Scott Air Force Base, IL.

The role is onsite with no travel, supporting clinical providers to improve care delivery. Responsibilities include incident ticket management, asset tracking, and telecommunication support for government devices.

Qualifications

• Must be US citizen with Security+ certification and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Minimum of 4 years of related experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs occasionally.
• Experience with HIPAA regulations and compliance preferred.
• Troubleshoot MS Office products, SharePoint, Genesis, and other medical applications.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with computer and information security guidelines including Privacy Act, HIPAA, Joint Commission, and DoD/AF guidance.
• IT Asset Management; assist with inventory management when needed.
• Telecommunications support for government-furnished mobile devices and facility phone systems.
• Open, track, and resolve work tickets with NCC, NOSC help desk and/or GSC; other duties as assigned.
• Provide customer support to users as directed by Government.
