Job summary

Sentinel Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Service Desk Technician to support one of our valued customers in Chicago. The role involves imaging, deploying, and replacing equipment while delivering excellent customer service.

You will troubleshoot hardware, software and basic networking, ensure devices are configured correctly, and safeguard data during deployment. This is a 3-month, on-site contract at the client's location.

Qualifications

1+ years of experience in a similar role.
Associate's degree in computer technology field or comparable certification.
Experience troubleshooting hardware, software and peripheral equipment.
Experience troubleshooting network and telecom problems.
Experience configuring PC software.
Experience with a ticketing system.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Extensive knowledge of computer software and hardware.
Ability to lift to 50 pounds independently.
Must be comfortable working in a medical facility.
Must satisfy client requirements including vaccinations, drug screening and HIPAA.
Valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance.
Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
Can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

Provide exceptional customer service while completing imaging, deployment and replacement requests.
Troubleshoot hardware, software and basic networking issues and ensure end-user devices are configured properly.
Safeguard customer data throughout the deployment process.
