Job summary

Schultes Precision Manufacturing is seeking a frontline Help Desk Technician to provide on-site IT support for production and office users. The role focuses on diagnosing hardware and software issues, logging requests, and delivering timely service to keep systems running smoothly.

You will support Windows and Microsoft 365, network connectivity, and ERP/workshop applications, collaborating with Maintenance and Engineering to resolve complex problems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience supporting desktop users.
• Hands-on experience troubleshooting common user issues.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite computer and network support for hardware and software problems reported by manufacturing and office users.
• Support shop-floor PCs, kiosks, thin clients, and time clocks.
• Provide first-line support for ERP and shop-floor application users (logins, printing, and basic issues).
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Engineering to support PCs connected to production machines and test stands.
• Help new users set up their email accounts and passwords, and assist with password resets.
• Log, track, and document support requests in the ticketing system.
• Update and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles.
