Job summary

Sargent Aerospace & Defense is seeking an IT Systems Technician to provide onsite technology support for a manufacturing site in Tucson. You will manage Windows endpoints, Microsoft 365, Teams, printers, shop-floor kiosks, and basic network connectivity, while driving IT project work and documentation.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of IT support, capable of working between office and manufacturing environments, and able to escalate complex issues with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of IT support, desktop support, or systems technician experience.
• Experience supporting Windows and Microsoft 365 environments.
• Experience deploying and troubleshooting desktops, laptops, peripherals, printers, and shared workstations.
• Working knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Ability to work safely in office and manufacturing environments, organize actions, and communicate clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite Level 1 and Level 2 support for hardware and business applications
• Image, configure, deploy, and maintain computers, monitors, peripherals, and other endpoint equipment
• Prepare technology for new hires, moves, conference rooms, and production areas
• Troubleshoot connectivity and basic network issues
• Support Microsoft 365, Teams phones, and conference-room technology
• Support shop-floor technologies and production endpoints
• Assist with server/file-share tasks and permissions
• Coordinate installations with internal teams and vendors
• Own tickets and project actions from intake to closure
• Monitor recurring issues and suggest improvements
• Travel to other local locations as required
