Job summary

TEKsystems in Lake Forest, CA is seeking an IT Support Engineer to maintain and support IT consumer devices across office, manufacturing, and warehouse environments. The role involves hardware/software troubleshooting, provisioning new users, managing devices with Intune and JAMF, and providing responsive end-user support for production and shipping teams.

This contract-to-hire role is onsite in Lake Forest, CA.

Qualifications

Associate degree in Computer Science or related field required; bachelor's preferred.
Minimum 3 years of relevant IT support experience.
Industry certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, CompTIA) or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows, and cloud-based endpoint management (Intune, JAMF).
Experience with ITIL processes; ServiceNow is a plus.

Responsibilities

Install and configure hardware, software, networks, printers, and mobile devices.
Monitor and maintain computer systems across office, manufacturing, and warehouse.
Respond quickly to service issues and requests.
Provide end-user support for production and shipping teams.
Provision new user accounts and devices using modern management tools.
Repair, replace, and decommission equipment as needed.
Use AI-assisted tools to speed troubleshooting and documentation.
Document processes and perform basic cybersecurity hygiene.
