Job summary

Tenneco is seeking a hands-on IT Infrastructure Specialist to provide on-site and remote support for a manufacturing facility in Frankfort, Indiana. You will handle incidents, change control, asset management, and patching while collaborating with Global IT and external providers.

Ideal candidates have at least two years in IT operations within a complex industrial setting, with strong Windows expertise, hardware knowledge, and experience supporting plant environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science preferred but not required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT operations/ service organization.
• Experience supporting automotive, manufacturing, plant, or production environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site and remote IT infrastructure support at Frankfort, IN facility.
• Manage incidents, problems and requests per service levels.
• Handle change, asset, and patch management in IT environments.
• Support server, network, UPS, and monitoring systems.
• Assist with project delivery with Global IT and vendors.
• Maintain asset register and support backup tapes and data restoration.
